Luxury Travel to Ras Al Khaimah

written by Kaya February 4, 2018

We went to Ras Al Khaimah to celebrate my birthday weekend this January. I rented a villa for me and my girlfriends and we indulged in a weekend of pure pleasure for the Soul at the Cove Rotana resort in this wonderful Emirate. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this stunning resort, as we enjoyed a comfortable private villa with magnificent views on the lagoons and sea. I could not have wished for a better way to celebrate my birthday.

Ras Al Khaimah is a small peaceful Emirate just an hour’s drive away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. I love coming here for long weekends and get some well-needed beach time and relaxation. The beaches in RAK (as we call Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE) are much less crowded and the hotels very well priced compared to what you would pay in Dubai. It’s a great get-a-way and wonderful stay-cation destination. If you are visiting Dubai for a holiday, I definitely recommend coming out here for a few days to experience the peace and quiet of the United Arab Emirates as well.

When you stay in The Cove Rotana you really don’t have to plan anything for the time that you’re there. Everything is available right at your doorstep: Beach time, great food delivered to your villa or eaten in one of the wonderful restaurants with splendid views of the sunset and ocean. Sheesha and drinks on the terrace, or a gym for the health-freaks, different spa treatments and of course the stunning pools looking out over the resort.

The resort is just an hour and fifteen minutes drive from Downtown Dubai and I definitely recommend you plan a visit here sooner than later. Check out The Cove Rotana here
